Comprehensive Testing Menu

We have partnered with world leading functional diagnostic testing company, Genova Diagnostics to offer a unique opportunity to determine any underlying imbalances as described below. It is important to note that no functional diagnostic testing is a replacement or alternative to medications or tests/treatments recommended or prescribed by your GP/Consultant

Male/Female Endocrine (Hormonal) Profile

Thyroid Plus

Sample Collection A serum blood test at our consultancy office or through a local phlebotomist. Turn Around Time Results available within 12-14 days. Analyte List Anti-TG, Anti-TPO, FT3, FT4, Reverse T3, TSH, TT4

Why is Thyroid testing important?

Thyroid Hormones are essential and primary regulators of the body’s metabolism. Imbalances can effect virtually every metabolic process in the body, exerting significant effects on mood and energy level.

Thyroid function has a profound impact on your health via:

  • Modulation of carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism
  • Vitamin utilisation
  • Mitochondrial function
  • Digestive process
  • Muscle and nerve activity
  • Blood flow
  • Oxygen utilisation
  • Hormone secretion
  • Sexual and reproductive health
  • Many other physiological parameters

Female Endocrine (Hormonal) Profile

Rhythm Plus

Sample Collection Requires 16 saliva samples collected over a full Menstrual Cycle Turn Around Time Results available within 12-14 days. Analyte List Oestradiol, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, DHEA, melatonin

Balance is key. Research has shown that abnormal levels (i.e outside the reference range) of oestradiol, progesterone and testosterone play a major role in a woman's overall health, affecting:

  • Menstrual Cycle
  • Mood Swings
  • Sleep Patterns
  • Appetite Level
  • Sex Drive

Chronic imbalances of these hormones are implicated in disorders such as:

  • PMS
  • Anovulation
  • Infertility
  • Amenorrhoea
  • Endometriosis
  • Polycystic Ovary Disease
  • Osteoporosis

Male Endocrine (Hormonal) Profile

Male Hormones Plus

Sample Collection Requires 4 saliva samples collected over a 24-hour period Turn Around Time Results available within 12-14 days. Analyte List Testosterone, cortisol, DHEA, melatonin

Male Hormones Plus is ideal for elucidating abnormal male sex hormones (i.e outside the reference range) which may cause the following

  • Loss of libido
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle weakness and atrophy
  • Poor endurance
  • Sleep disturbances

Male/Female Gastrointestinal (Digestive) Profile

G.I. Effects

Sample Collection Requires only one single stool sample collection Turn Around Time Results available within 12-14 days. Analyte List Inflammation, immune function, yeast, parasites, bacteria, pathogens, pharmaceutical and botanical sensitives, short chain fatty acids, pancreatic function, markers for digestion and absorption

Why use stool testing?

Gastrointestinal (GI) function is important for general health. This includes balancing beneficial microbial flora in the gut to enhance health benefit. GI health is key in digestion, nutrient usage, and ridding the body of waste and pathogens. Poor digestion and malabsorption can lead to immune dysfunction, nutritional insufficiencies, and various disease states.

Your intestinal tract contains significant amounts of bacteria, some beneficial, some neutral, and some that can be harmful. It is helpful to know the microbial balance of your GI tract, especially if you have chronic health problems. Health enhancing intestinal bacteria serve to prevent the overgrowth of potentially harmful bacteria in the gut.

This test (and any findings herein) should not be used as a substitute to diagnostic testing/interventions as recommended by your GP and/or Consultant. This is not an acute medical test and should not be utilised as such.

Symptoms related to G.I disorders (but may also be caused by other conditions):

  • Abdominal pain
  • Arthritis/joint pain
  • Headaches/migraines
  • Diarrhoea or constipation
  • Noticeable change in stool
  • Bloating/gas
  • Unexpected weight loss/gain
  • Blood, mucus, or pus in stool
  • Hives/skin rash/eczema
  • Acid reflux/heartburn
  • Chronic Fatigue

Male/Female Nutritional Profile

NutrEval

The NutrEval Profile consists of:

Metabolic Analysis measuring 46 key organic acids to evaluate gastrointestinal function, cellular energy production, neurotransmitter processing, and functional needs for vitamins, minerals, and co-factors.

Amino Acid Analysis measuring 30 amino acids to evaluate dietary protein adequacy, digestion, absorption, amino acid transport, metabolic impairments, and nutritional deficits; including essential vitamins minerals and amino acids.

Essential & Metabolic Fatty Acid Assessment measures the levels of fatty acids in red blood cell membranes that affect cellular communication and the inflammatory cascade.

Sample Collection

Requires blood and urine sample collection

Turn Around Time

Results available within 21 days.

Analyte List

See below

Oxidative Stress Analysis is a sensitive tool to evaluate the body’s anti-oxidant reserves, the presence of oxidative injury, and CoQ10.

HomoCystine can be used as biochemical marker for certain nutritional deficiencies (vitamin B12, folic acid and vitamin B6). It also serves as independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease, and is implicated in a number of other conditions.

Vitamin D (25-OH Vitamin D) 25-hydroxycholecalciferol is the principle circulating derivative of vitamin D and the precursor to the active form 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol. As well as playing a vital role in maintaining bone health, Vitamin D is critical for immune function and deficiencies are associated with many serious illnesses.
